I started reading the Darkest Powers books not long ago (The Summoning, The Awakening, The Reckoning) and quickly barreled through the first two books. The newest book in the series, The Reckoning, has just been released and will soon be gracing our shelves here at CCPL. In honor of its recent release I just wanted to drop by and tell you all that I highly recommend this series by Kelley Armstrong. The story is quick and exciting, the characters are interesting, and the supernatural twist is a nice break from your average storyline (meaning that it's not about vampires or fairies).
